Activities and Experience for Students

At Innovate Academy, we aim to nurture the whole student. We aim to have well rounded Innovators who work hard and play hard. Innovate aims to expose students to multiple activities that they may not have access to at traditional schools. We also sprinkle in opportunities for students to play competitive sports.

Our on-site extracurricular activities are chosen by the students! We flex depending on the interest and needs of our student body. That is part of the beauty of going to school at a small private school! We have the ability to listen to our stakeholders regarding extra-curriculars and pivot depending on students’ individual interests. Here are some examples of on-campus extracurricular activities that we currently offer:

  • Cross Country
  • Trap Shooting
  • Chess Club
  • Krav Maga
  • Girls on the Run
  • Archery
  • Soccer

Innovate Academy & Preparatory has strong relationships with surrounding public schools and their athletic programs. Since we are such a small community, our leaders have the ability to set up try outs for students who are interested in playing competitive sports on teams at their closest residential public school. This allows our students to play competitive team sports with larger schools, while allowing them to have a small school experience for academics. Some examples of sports that our students currently play off-site at neighboring public schools are:

  • Golf
  • Basketball
  • Baseball
  • Football
